Family Day Care providers in the State of Georgia care for 3 to no more than 6 children for pay in their home. The providers home must be located in a residential zone and must meet any other city and/or county requirements in their area. Providers who operate a small business in their home are required to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in their care as well as maintain compliance with the rules and regulations for Family Day Care Homes.
